IE 7 ????????? Huge mistake !!!!?

I have down loaded IE 7 and since then have encountered numerous problems on my PC.

1) Can not save pictures from the net.

2) Can not down load Firefox.

Is there ANY way I can uninstall IE7....I even tried restored my PC to a much earlier date but with no success.

All suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

All you have to do is remove it from your Add and Remove Programs list. Your previous version of IE will be there.

we have ie 7 here and it didn't cause any of those problems. you computer must have other issues.

fortunately since i have a usb 2.0 flash drive i don't have to use ie7 :)) horray portable firefox from http://www.portableapps.com/
Find out where to download the browser you want to use and download it, when installing it you may be asked if you want it to be your default browser if so say yes,

if not you can add the URL in Internet options on IE 7, click on the tools tab at the top right of the browser when it opens select Internet options, at the top of the window you will see a text box with IE 7 address in it, just add the new browser address and make it your default browser.

Also you can go to control panel,add/remove programs, but on the left hand side select the bottom option which is set program access and defaults select custom which again is the bottom choice and make sure Internet explorer is not selected as your default browser.
